Skill: Healing magic + terminal illness
Game: Day 196, Hook's skill game (did not participate)

Details:

SO. Canary can heal things! With magic!!! YAAAAAY. She can heal essentially any injury or illness and can heal herself as well, with the exception of her illness. The healing itself consists of her placing her hands over you and there's a GREEN GLOW and then after a few seconds (or longer) yay you're magically healed. It's not addressed in canon but I'm going to say she can't heal severed limbs, sorry guys. But she can heal the stump. :D?

POWERCAPPING SCALE mostly for my own reference as a rough guideline: Bruise > cut/cold > bone/flu etc/poison > limb/lethal poisons/anything potentially lethal if not treated quickly > dying.

If you don't want your character healed or healing shouldn't be possible for whatever reason (ex. canon disabilities you want to keep), we can work that out OOCly- her magic just won't work on it.



okay so THE ILLNESS. In regaining any part of her magic, Canary also gets the bonus of a handy dandy terminal illness, since in her world magic can only be used by people with a terminal illness. The cause of it seems to be linked to the brightness of her astra. However, canon is very sparse on any specific symptoms, except for one time that she passes out. So I'm going to take some creative liberties with this, and play it by ear for the most part.

In general she'll be in more frail health, so heavy exertion or too much excitement can leave her especially worn out. Some days she may feel relatively fine but others she may feel more ill, with a lack of appetite and dizzy spells, etc. I'm not going to lay out anything too specific but that's sort of the idea of what I'll be going with- light physical symptoms that can worsen at times.
