But no there have been some significant updates, if somewhat outwardly subtle now. I've probably said stuff before about how Canary looks up to Kit, though while she loves all of Coral, in some ways she depends on him more than the others. She's gotten a lot closer to Kit since Lizard was booked, and while she still has times where she feels like she doesn't want to tell him things, he's generally who she goes to when there's something she needs to talk about or needs help with.

Or at least, that was how it was until Jabberquest. There were about three things about Kit dying that messed Canary up: 1. It was the first time she'd seen a teammate die, 2. It was Kit who was doing the dying, who as I said before he's something of a pillar for her and she had told him earlier in the game she would support him (which she wanted to do because she felt like he always supported her), and 3. she was counting on the fact that her healing would be returned after the game, and when it wasn't, there was that awful moment of he's still alive but he's going to die now because you couldn't save him. It was pretty devastating for her, which she unfortunately reacted to by going numb and then running on autopilot for most of the night after that.

There was other stuff after that which led to her feeling even worse about herself, but as far as Kit goes, she's now a lot more hesitant to ask his help or depend on him too much. The fact that he was able to get right back up and move on, along with not being able to save him, left her struggling with feelings of weakness and the desire to be stronger so that something like this will never happen again, or at the very least, she wouldn't feel this way again. Basically, she wanted to be more like Kit in the way he can pokerface his badfeels away.

She had a talk with Lloyd in Camelot though where she talked about how she felt and he made her a little more willing to express her feelings instead of running from them, so now she can at least talk to Kit again without feeling like she's trying to hide something- and she kind of wants him to express himself more, too. But she does still feel like she should depend on him less and stay out of his way because he's clearly stronger than her and therefore worth more (which had to do with why she initially wandered off on her own at the start of Mouse's heart).

REVERSE??
