He felt pretty good about it, for the most part! His heart game really left him feeling better a lot about things in general and... a-avoiding feeling bad about things that might drag him back down into that pit again, so he just focused on the good about it- like that he was still going to be able to do something worth doing and he wasn't going to have to go alone. Leaving his team behind sucked a little, but even if he'd stayed, he wouldn't be able to protect them when he needed to most, which would be in games. SO he's trusting them to be able to take care of and protect each other.

Shiny made him feel a little bad about leaving before Ling came back, but what with Erika lessening some of his feelings (positive and negative) toward Ling, it wasn't as painful as it could have been. He was able to reason it away with the fact that Ling chose to leave and he couldn't stay and risk falling into depression again just so he could be there to greet when Ling when he came back.

SO YEAH, overall he felt pretty good about it, though Pitch made him sad too but he's going to come back for him. Plus hey, with the care package set up in Camelot he's not actually all that far away all the time.
